Thunderbolt Cables

Thunderbolt Cables were designed by Intel and Apple working in conjunction. These facilitate the connection of external devices to a computer. They have the capability to transmit data, display & power.

These cables were popularised by Apple products and were predominantly used to transmit MacBooks video signal to a video source.

We stock these in two different terminations, regular Thunderbolt uses Mini Display Port and also Thunderbolt 3 uses USB-C Type. Our lengths vary from 50cm to 300cm and are usually male to male connectors.

Thunderbolt is theoretically capable of 10 Gbit/s.

Thunderbolt 3 is theoretically capable of 40 Gbit/s, depending on the manufacturer and cable length.
