Microsoft Visio is an enterprise design tool. It's not really a free-hand drawing tool like Photoshop or Gimp. It's more structured. Visio can be used for drawing wiring diagrams, building schematics, network architecture and more.

Microsoft Office Professional includes the basic software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote) and also includes MS Publisher (used for publications such as newsletters) and MS Access (database). Office Pro can include additional business applications services (such as MS SharePoint).
