Storage Devices and Enclosures

Storage enclosures allow you to convert a traditional hard-drive, SSD or M.2 SSD (that would be installed internally to a PC) to an external device.

In the event you sell or replace a PC and have storage parts, an enclosure is a cost-effective way to re-use the parts and turn them into a portable storage/backup device.

They are available in many sizes, with the majority being 2.5", 3.5" and PCie. They may come as USB, USB-C or even wireless connectivity options. Some are powered by USB and some will have a dedicated DC charging cable.
