SATA/IDE/Raid addon cards
SATA, IDE and Raid addon cards are simply a way for you to expand the amount of ports available for storage and control devices on your motherboard. They are used when a person wishes to install more hard-drives in their computer however do not have slots available.
The most common form is a SATA addon card that connects to a motherboard’s PCI slot, allowing a person to connect more hard drives to the rear of the computer.
We also stock an array of miscellaneous devices, such as PCI-E riser cables (these are used when physical access to a slot is unavailable, usually due to graphics cards that cover the slot). The PCI-E riser will allow you to relocate your PCIE device and improve access to the PCI or PCI-E slots.
