The Vertiv Avocent HMX 8000 Series are an IP based high performance KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) extender that can be part of a fully matrixed KVM solution when an HMX Advanced manager is added. The extender allows you the flexibility to locate your critical computing hardware in a secure and temperature controlled environment away from the user work station, while maintaining a pixel perfect desktop experience.
The Vertiv Avocent HMX8000 provides 4K video capability giving users access and control to computers over any distance without compromise to video and mouse performance.
The Avocent HMX8000 is an IP based, high performance KVM that eliminates distance limitations.
With less than a second switching between target computers and a fully redundant system with auto failover, the HMX8000 is ideal for the broadcasting, post production and control room environments where a many to many configuration is required.
