Poynting A-XPOL-0024-V1-02, 11 dBi, 0.617 - 4.2 GHz, 50 Ohms, Omni-directional antenna, N-type, Female
The XPOL-24 expands Poynting's very popular Cross Polarised (XPOL) antenna range. The XPOL-24 is our first ever 44 MIMO 5G/LTE bands with exceptional performance. This is due to the incorporation of advanced metamaterial technology, making use of an Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) and new registered/patent configuration, which has proven to yield exceptional improvements in bandwidth and gain. The radiation patterns of this antenna are exceptionally well controlled, which further adds to exceptional performance of the antenna.
The XPOL-24 offers wideband frequency coverage from 617 to 4200 MHz, with a peak gain of 11dBi across the bands of operation. The antenna performs exceptionally well in the following frequency bands: 617

| Performance | |
| Frequency band A small section of the spectrum of radio communication frequencies, in which channels are usually used or set aside for the same purpose e.g.for a channel on FM radio; for mobile networks to communicate with mobile phones. | 0.617 - 4.2 GHz |
| Impedance The effective resistance of an electric circuit or component to alternating current, arising from the combined effects of ohmic resistance and reactance. | 50 Ω |
| Antenna gain level (max) Antenna gain is the measurement of an antenna's ability to amplify the incoming microwave signals in a particular direction, compared with the sensitivity of an isotropic antenna in any direction, or a dipole antenna in the equatorial direction. | 11 dBi |
| Features | |
| Antenna type Type of antenna, also known an aerial, e.g. external, internal. | Omni-directional antenna |
| Antenna connector type The way in which the antenna is connected to the device e.g. coaxial. | N-type |
| Connector gender To distinguish parts on a cable interface, connectors are grouped under genders. Sockets or jacks are considered to be female whilst plugs are referred to as male. | Female |
| Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) | 2:1 |

| Protection features Physical effects from which the product is protected e.g. water resistant, crash proof. | Dust resistant, UV resistant, Water resistant |
| International Protection (IP) code The IP code classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion (including body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The digits (characteristic numerals) indicate conformity with the conditions summarized in the tables below. Where there is no protection rating with regard to one of the criteria, the digit is replaced with the letter X. an electrical socket rated IP22 is protected against insertion of fingers and will not be damaged or become unsafe during a specified test in which it is exposed to vertically or nearly vertically dripping water. Another example is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, one of the first cellular phones to be IP-rated; it is rated at IP58 and marketed as "dust resistant" and can be "immersed in 1.5 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes". | IP65 |
| Ultraviolet (UV) resistant |
|
| Survival wind speed | 160 km/h |
| Power handling | 10 W |
| Mounting What size the mounting head of the product is, to couple it with a camera. | Wall/Pole |
| Purpose What the product is used for. | Indoor & outdoor |
| Certificates | |
| Sustainability compliance |
|
| Compliance certificates Indicates which regulatory, safety, and environmental standards the product complies with, as verified by recognized authorities or certification bodies. | CE, RoHS |
| Certification | MIL-STD 810G/ASTM B117 |
| Operational conditions | |
| Operating temperature (T-T) The minimum and maximum temperatures at which the product can be safely operated. | -40 - 80 °C |
| Storage temperature (T-T) The minimum and maximum temperatures at which the product can be safely stored. | -40 - 80 °C |
| Storage relative humidity (H-H) | 5 - 95% |
