Mikrotik CRS317-1G-16S+RM, Managed, L3, Rack mounting, 1U
The new Cloud Router Switch 317-1G-16S+RM is a rack-mountable manageable switch with Layer3 features, it has 16 SFP+ ports for high performance 10GbE connectivity and a 1GbE copper port for management.
CRS317-1G-16S+RM is powered by a next generation switching chip, giving you wire speed performance for all sixteen 10GbE ports with any Ethernet frame size. New features such as hardware-based Spanning Tree Protocol and Link Aggregation (LACP) provide enhanced protection and true professional performance for your demanding network.
The unit has dual redundant power supplies and passive cooling case, so it's completely silent - for hot environments two redundant fans will automatically keep the system cool if needed.

| Management features | |
| Switch type What switch device has, managed or unmanaged. | Managed |
| Switch layer A network switch is a computer networking device that links networking segments. A switch has different layers, such as layer 2 (a network bridge, operating at the data link layer, interconnecting a small number of devices) and layer 4 (can act as a firewall, amongst other things). | L3 |
| Web-based management Using a website/web application to manage something. |
|
| Ports & interfaces | |
| Basic switching RJ-45 Ethernet ports type The type/category of basic switching RJ-45 Ethernet ports (sockets). |
|
| Gigabit Ethernet (copper) ports quantity | 1 |
| SFP+ module slots quantity | 16 |
| Console port | RJ-45 |
| Power connector | DC-in jack |
| Network | |
| Networking standards The way in which the network is working, e.g. IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g. | IEEE 802.1Q |
| 10G support The product can use Oracle 10G, which is a database management system introduced in 2003. |

|
| VLAN support A Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) consists of a group of computers and switches that can be physically distributed over different networks and buildings, but form one LAN on a logical level. |
|
| Number of VLANs | 4000 |
| Security | |
| Security algorithms Security algorithms are used to provide authentication, cipher key generation, integrity and radio link privacy to users on mobile networks. The security algorithms supported are the ones that can be used with this product. | SNMPv2, SNMPv3 |

| Performance | |
| Built-in processor Whether or not a processor is built into the device. |
|
| Processor frequency The clock rate is the fundamental rate in cycles per second (measured in hertz) at which a computer performs its most basic operations such as adding two numbers. There are more factors, like internal memory size, that influence a computer's actual response time. | 800 MHz |
| Memory type Type of memory in the device e.g. DDR3, SRAM (Static RAM). | Flash |
| Internal memory The amount of memory, usually measured in bytes (e.g. MB, GB), which is installed in the system's hardware. | 16 MB |
| Flash memory | 1000 MB |

| Number of power supply units | 2 |
| AC input voltage The voltage of the AC electricity that is inputted into the product. | 110 - 240 V |
| Power consumption (max) The maximum amount of power used by the device. | 42 W |
| Power over Ethernet (PoE) | |
| Power over Ethernet (PoE) The device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which is one of several standardized or ad-hoc systems which pass electrical power along with data on Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electrical power to devices such as wireless access points or IP cameras. |
|
| Operational conditions | |
| Operating temperature (T-T) The minimum and maximum temperatures at which the product can be safely operated. | -20 - 60 °C |
