| Point-to-point protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) The Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) is a network protocol for encapsulating PPP frames inside Ethernet frames. | DHCP server A server is a system which that responds to requests across a computer network to provide, or help to provide, a network service.
