Intel I350T2V2, Internal, Wired, PCI Express, Ethernet, 1000 Mbit/s
Intel Ethernet Power Management Technology provides solutions to common power management approaches by reducing idle power, reducing capacity and power as a function of demand, operating at maximum energy efficiency whenever possible, and enabling functionality only when needed.

Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP) technology utilizes industry standard PCI SIG SR-IOV to efficiently divide your physical Ethernet device into multiple virtual devices, providing Quality of Service by ensuring each process is assigned to a Virtual Function and is provided a fair share of the bandwidth.

Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) is a technology designed to offload some of the switching done in the VMM (Virtual Machine Monitor) to networking hardware specifically designed for this function. VMDq drastically reduces overhead associated with I/O switching in the VMM which greatly improves throughput and overall system performance

Single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) involves natively (directly) sharing a single I/O resource between multiple virtual machines. SR-IOV provides a mechanism by which a Single Root Function (for example a single Ethernet Port) can appear to be multiple separate physical devices.
Ports & interfaces
Connectivity technology The technology that enables connectivity of the device, e.g. wired or wireless. Wired
Host interface Interface that enables a host controller to communicate with a driver. PCI Express
Interface Interface ports to connect pieces of equipment. USB (Universal Serial Bus) has become the most popular wired interface to connect peripherals. USB 2.0 supports speeds up to 480 Mbit/s (USB 1: 12 Mbit/s). The interface FireWire is also known as the IEEE 1394 standard. Enhanced IDE (EIDE)is sometimes referred to as Fast ATA, Fast IDE or ATA-2. Ethernet
Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports Number of Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports allow a computer to connect to the ethernet. 2
PCI version 2.1
PCI Card form factor Design of the PCI Card. Full-height (low-profile)
Network
Maximum data transfer rate The maximum speed with which data can be transmitted from one device to another. 1000 Mbit/s
Networking standards The way in which the network is working, e.g. IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g. IEEE 802.1as,IEEE 802.1Q,IEEE 802.3,IEEE 802.3ab,IEEE 802.3az,IEEE 802.3u,IEEE 802.3x,IEEE 802.3z
Ethernet LAN An Ethernet LAN (Local Area Network) interface is present, for a wired conection via a cable.
Ethernet LAN data rates The different speed levels of the Ethernet LAN connection. 1000 Mbit/s
Cabling technology Type of cable technology performance. 10/100/1000BaseT(X)
Full duplex A full-duplex system allows communication in both directions, and unlike half-duplex, allows this to happen simultaneously.
Supported network protocols Network protocols tested as compatible with this product e.g. FTP,HTML, POP. TCP, UDP, IP
Maximum operating distance The maximum distance from which you can operate the device. 100 m
LAN controller Intel® I350

Internal The product is built in.
Chipset Set of electronic components in an integrated circuit that manages the data flow between the processor, memory and peripherals. It is usually found in the motherboard of a computer. Chipsets are usually designed to work with a specific family of microprocessors. Because it controls communications between the processor and external devices, the chipset plays a crucial role in determining system performance. Intel® I350
Power
Power consumption (typical) Amount of power consumed by this model, often expressed in watts (W). Typical values that manufacturers give are power consumption when off, standby/suspended mode, typical use, maximum usage. 5 W
