The AP LAR 1 is an in line, N Type connector (1 x female, 1 x male) lightning arrester, designed for use with Aruba wireless access points and antennas when deployed outdoors. The device is designed to protect the access point radios from high voltage lightning transient voltage. As the device is 2.0 6.0GHz frequency range supporting, the same arrester part may be used for 2.4 2.5 GHz or 5 GHz deployments. AP LAR 1 is weather proof once installed.
