Honeywell Voyager 1202G, Handheld bar code reader, 1D, Laser, 60 - 60 deg, Wireless, Bluetooth
Voyager 1202g Features and Benefits
Bluetooth Wireless Technology:
Facilitates scanning of all standard 1D bar codes 10 meters (33 feet) or more away from the base, depending on the user's environment
Long Battery Life and Tool-Free Battery Removal:
The user-preferred Lithium ion battery provides 12 hours or more of use, depending on scanning volume, and the field-replaceable battery can be exchanged quickly and easily, without the use of tools
Automatic Interface Configuration:
Supports all popular interfaces in one device, replacing the time consuming process of scanning programming bar codes with automatic interface detection and configuration
Excellent Poor Quality Code Reading:
Increases throughput and reduces the potential for hand-keyed errors by quickly scanning a variety of 1D bar codes, including those that are damaged or smudged
Paging Functionality:
Simply press the button on the base to locate your lost scanner; Voyager 1202g responds with a series of beeps and blinking lights on its indicator panel
Remote MasterMind Ready:
Reduces total cost of ownership by providing a turnkey remote device management solution that easily manages and tracks usage of installed devices.

| Scanning | |
| Type Characteristics of the device. | Handheld bar code reader |
| Scanner type Indicates the type of scanner this product is. | 1D |
| Sensor type A sensor is a convertor than measures a physical quality (light, temperature etc.) and displays this electronically on a device. | Laser |
| Pitch reading angle | 60 - 60° |
| Ports & interfaces | |
| Connectivity technology The technology that enables connectivity of the device, e.g. wired or wireless. | Wireless |
| Standard interfaces Most common industry-standard communication protocols ranging from RS-232, RS-422, RS-423, RS-485, and LVDS to USB. | Bluetooth |
| Data transfer rate Rate at which data can be transferred, usually measured in units per second. May vary with network configurations. | 3 Mbit/s |
| Wireless range | 10 m |
| Bluetooth version The type of bluetooth technology in the product e.g. Bluetooth Smart (v4.0). | 2.1+EDR |
| Operating frequency The rate at which an electrical current alternates, usually measured in Hertz (Hz). Also the way to note a general location on the radio frequency spectrum such as 800 MHz, 900 MHz or 1900 MHz. | 2.4 - 2.5 MHz |
| Performance | |
| International Protection (IP) code The IP code classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion (including body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The digits (characteristic numerals) indicate conformity with the conditions summarized in the tables below. Where there is no protection rating with regard to one of the criteria, the digit is replaced with the letter X. an electrical socket rated IP22 is protected against insertion of fingers and will not be damaged or become unsafe during a specified test in which it is exposed to vertically or nearly vertically dripping water. Another example is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, one of the first cellular phones to be IP-rated; it is rated at IP58 and marketed as "dust resistant" and can be "immersed in 1.5 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes". | IP42 |
| Product colour The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white. | Black |
| RoHS compliance The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive aims to restrict certain dangerous substances commonly used in electrical and electronic equipment. Any RoHS compliant product is tested for the presence of Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent chromium (Hex-Cr), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). PBB and PBDE are flame retardants used in several plastics. For Cadmium and Hexavalent chromium, there must be less than 0.01% of the substance by weight at raw homogeneous materials level. For Lead, PBB, and PBDE, there must be no more than 0.1% of the material, when calculated by weight at raw homogeneous materials. Any RoHS compliant component must have 100 ppm or less of mercury and the mercury must not have been intentionally added to the component. In the EU, some military and medical equipment are exempt from RoHS compliance. |
