The ZX80 8" fully rugged Android tablet is a built-for-AI powerhouse that puts real-time analytics, facilities management, and UAV piloting in the palm of your hands, featuring extreme tolerances and a long battery life in a sleek lightweight package.
LIGHTWEIGHT, COMPACT YET RUGGED
The ZX80 with its lightweight form factor (1.3lbs), is built to fully rugged military standards (MIL-STD-810H) to resist shock, spill, vibration, and a six-foot drop without damage or disruption. It also tolerates temperature extremes of -20DegF to 145DegF (-29DegC to +63DegC ) while being IP67-certified and submerged in up to one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Equipped with a 1,000nit screen and a 16:10 display, the ZX80 excels in crucial tasks requiring optimal device performance and reliability, such as forklift truck operation and UAV control.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ON EDGE-AI
The ZX80 empowers manufacturers, utilities, transport providers, and security services to upgrade and future-proof their mobile assets and operations with AI. Qualcomm neural processor unit (NPU) and 8" ultra-widescreen display makes the ZX80 well-suited to facilities management, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control, real-time analytics, and electronic logging device (ELD) duties, while its sleek yet rugged design fits right in on the move.
BUILT FOR OUTDOOR PERFORMANCE
ZX80's 8" WUXGA (1900x1200 resolution) widescreen in 16x10 display delivers 1,000 nits of screen brightness, enabling easy display under even the brightest sunlight. Its powerful front speaker, noise-canceling microphones, and best-in-class camera specs (8MP front/16MP rear) make remote guidance and conferencing loud and clear. And with its dual-battery setup, with an additional hot-swappable standard or high-capacity second battery, all-day working is not a problem. Furthermore, an optional digitizer pen enhances precision in data entry and signature capture.
BUILT FOR SEAMLESS COMMUNICATIONS
ZX80's dual SIM capabilities (one physical SIM + one eSIM) enable easy switching between different carrier networks, with optional 4G LTE or 5G Sub-6 with 4X4 MIMO delivering ultra-broadband cellular (WWAN) data transfer. ZX80 also supports local private networks such as the CBRS band in the US. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 round out its short-range wireless capabilities, with optional dedicated GPS (L1/L5) available for precise geolocation even in remote locations.
ANDROID ENTERPRISE RECOMMENDED WITH SOFTWARE UPGRADE SUPPORT
ZX80 is powered by the Android™ 13 operating system and is verified by Google as an Android Enterprise Recommended Rugged Device. Android™ 13 offers a diverse feature set, including application-level language settings, granular control over what information apps can access, and built-in safeguards to protect critical data. ZX80 will also support at least five years of security updates, with at least 3 Android Operating System versions over its lifecycle and various feature enhancements.
DIVERSE CONFIGURATIONS, ACCESSORIES & UPGRADES
ZX80's battery life can be extended via a high-capacity second battery. NFC or a laser barcode reader can be integrated within the chassis. A 65W USB-C AC adapter and office dock are available for in-office use. A stylus and hand straps can be added for usage on foot. And third-party vehicle dock compatibility enables easy device deployment and usage in a truck, van, or forklift cabin.

| Display | |
| Display diagonal Size of the display for this product, measured diagonally, usually in inches. | 20.3 cm (8") |
| Display resolution The number of distinct pixels in each dimension that can be displayed. It is usually quoted as width × height, with the units in pixels: for example, "1024 × 768" means the width is 1024 pixels and the height is 768 pixels. The higher the number of pixels, the sharper the image. | 1920 x 1200 pixels |
| LED backlight A backlight is a form of illumination used in liquid crystal displays (LCDs). One type of backlight is made by LEDs, which can be either white or RGB (red green blue). White LEDs are used most often in notebooks and desktop screens, and in virtually all mobile LCD screens. RGB LEDs for backlighting are found in high-end color proofing displays such as HP DreamColor LP2480zx monitor or selected HP EliteBook notebooks, as well as newer consumer grade displays such as Dell's Studio series laptops which have an optional RGB LED display. |

| International Protection (IP) code The IP code classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion (including body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The digits (characteristic numerals) indicate conformity with the conditions summarized in the tables below. Where there is no protection rating with regard to one of the criteria, the digit is replaced with the letter X. an electrical socket rated IP22 is protected against insertion of fingers and will not be damaged or become unsafe during a specified test in which it is exposed to vertically or nearly vertically dripping water. Another example is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, one of the first cellular phones to be IP-rated; it is rated at IP58 and marketed as "dust resistant" and can be "immersed in 1.5 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes". | IP67 |
