Fortinet 1-Port Gigabit PoE Power Injector, 802.3at up to 30W for GPI-130 Gigabit PoE Injector, Gigabit Ethernet, 10,100,1000 Mbit/s, IEEE 802.3at, 100 m, 55 V, 100 - 240 V
The single-port GPI-115 and GPI-130 Power over Ethernet (PoE) injectors offer a compact and cost-effective, fully IEEE 802.3af/802.3at-compliant solution to power FortiAP™ wireless access points and other compliant devices. They deliver single-port, mid-span, with 15.4/30 Watts of Gigabit Ethernet (GE) PoE, giving you maximum deployment flexibility.
The Advantage of Mid-Span Power
The mid-span injector works with legacy network devices and thus eliminates the need to forklift upgrade installed switches. Moreover, they operate in High Availability configuration by connecting to an existing Ethernet switch Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) or alternatively to its own dedicated UPS.
Remote Power Wireless LAN Access Points
A PoE injector makes installing FortiAP access points easy and economical. It allows you to place the FortiAP access point at its optimal location by eliminating the need for an AC power outlet in a ceiling or wall. The device injects DC power directly into the same GE cable that carries the Ethernet traffic, avoiding the installation of additional cabling. With the device, you have the freedom to deploy Fortinet's secure wireless solution anywhere in your facility. It allows you to take advantage of the wireless controller feature in every FortiGate® consolidated security platform. Its plug-and-play capabilities enable rapid deployment of your wireless infrastructure, accelerating the deployment of secure wireless access.
