| Features | |
| UPS topology The two main UPS topologies are Double-Conversion True Online and Standby / Eco. Many quality-based considerations are involved when choosing the the optimal UPS for the job, like how they are coping with voltage disturbances. | Line-Interactive |
| Output power capacity The maximum power that the device can produce. | 1600 VA |
| Output power The power that the device can produce. | 960 W |
| Waveform | Sine |
| Input operation voltage (min) The minumum voltage needed by the device during operation. | 167 V |
| Input operation voltage (max) The maximum input voltage supported by the device. | 295 V |
| Input frequency The frequency (Hz) which is required to power the product. | 50/60 Hz |
| Output operation voltage (max) The maximum output voltage produced by the device. | 230 V |
| Output frequency | 50/60 Hz |
| Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) |
|
| Maximum current The greatest possible amount of current, which is a quantity representing the rate of flow of electric charge. | 6.96 A |
| Surge energy rating A surge protector is an appliance designed to protect electrical devices from voltage spikes. A surge protector attempts to limit the voltage supplied to an electric device by either blocking or by shorting to ground any unwanted voltages above a safe threshold. The surge energy rating is a measure of how much energy a surge protector can theoretically absorb in a single event, without failure. | 450 J |
| Response time The response time is the time difference between the moment that a source (for example a video card) sends a signal and that equipment (for example a monitor) receives or display the signal. (Used abbreviations: R/F = Rise and Fall.) | 4 ms |
| EMI/RFI noise filtering |
|
| Noise level The amplitude level of the undesired background noise, usually measured in decibels (db). | 40 dB |
| Surge protection |
|
| Audible alarm(s) Alarms that make a sound when they are activated (set off). |
|
| Audible alarm modes | Alarm when on battery, Fault, Low battery alarm, Overload alarm |
| Ports & interfaces | |
| Power plug A power plug is a 2 or 3 pinned device that is placed into an electrical socket in order to make an electrical connection. | C14 coupler |
| AC outlets quantity The number of sockets in the device where AC electrical power can be connected. | 4 AC outlet(s) |
| USB port The device features a socket into which a USB cable can be plugged. |
|
| USB 2.0 ports quantity Number of USB 2.0 ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. USB 2.0 was released in April 2000 (now called "Hi-Speed"), adding higher maximum signaling rate of 480 Mbit/s (effective throughput up to 35 MB/s or 280 Mbit/s), USB 2.0 ports are usually black. | 1 |
| USB port type | USB Type-B |
| Serial interface |
|
| Serial interface type | RS-232 |
| Serial ports quantity The number of serial ports in a computer or peripheral. A serial port is a serial communication physical interface through which information transfers in or out one bit at a time. The term "serial port" usually identifies hardware more or less compliant to the RS-232 standard, intended to interface with a modem or with a similar communication device. In modern computers and peripherals, serial ports have largely been replaced by USBs and other interfaces. | 1 |
| Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports Number of Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports allow a computer to connect to the ethernet. | 1 |
| Battery | |
| Battery technology The type of battery in the device, e.g. nickel–cadmium (NiCd). | Sealed Lead Acid (VRLA) |
| Typical backup time at full load The amount of time that a backup energy source (e.g. UPS - Uninterruptible Power Source) can power the device for, when the backup energy source is fully loaded (100% of capacity). | 2 min |
| Typical backup time at half load The amount of time that a backup energy source (e.g. UPS - Uninterruptible Power Source) can power the device for, when the backup energy source is half-loaded (50% of capacity). | 11 min |
| Battery recharge time Approximate time required to recharge the battery from completely empty to completely full | 8 h |
| Design | |
| Form factor The shape or design of the product. | Tower |
| Housing material What the casing of the product is made of. | Plastic |
| Cable length How long the cable is. | 1.5 m |
| Product colour The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white. | Black |
| LED indicators |
|
| Display The description of display that can includes display type, resolution, size etc. | LCD |
| RoHS compliance The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive aims to restrict certain dangerous substances commonly used in electrical and electronic equipment. Any RoHS compliant product is tested for the presence of Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent chromium (Hex-Cr), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). PBB and PBDE are flame retardants used in several plastics. For Cadmium and Hexavalent chromium, there must be less than 0.01% of the substance by weight at raw homogeneous materials level. For Lead, PBB, and PBDE, there must be no more than 0.1% of the material, when calculated by weight at raw homogeneous materials. Any RoHS compliant component must have 100 ppm or less of mercury and the mercury must not have been intentionally added to the component. In the EU, some military and medical equipment are exempt from RoHS compliance. |
