Cisco AIR-ANT2544V4M-R=, 4 dBi, 2.4/5 GHz, IEEE 802.11n, 4 dBi, 4 dBi, Omni-directional antenna
The next generation of Cisco Aironet 802.11n
access points the Cisco Aironet 1600e, 2600e, 3600e Series and 1550 Series requires the use of dual-band external antennas to make them fully functioning units. As these access points take greater advantage of the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) features supported under the 802.11n standard, the number of radio transceivers per frequency band has increased. Using dual-band antenna ports allows the access point to support these added transceivers while maintaining a reasonably low number of antenna connections. Each dual-band antenna can transmit or receive Wi-Fi signals in both the 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz bands simultaneously.

| Performance | |
| Frequency band A small section of the spectrum of radio communication frequencies, in which channels are usually used or set aside for the same purpose e.g.for a channel on FM radio; for mobile networks to communicate with mobile phones. | 2.4/5 GHz |
| Networking standards The way in which the network is working, e.g. IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g. | IEEE 802.11n |
| Antenna gain (2.4 GHz) | 4 dBi |
| Antenna gain (5 GHz) | 4 dBi |
| Antenna gain level (max) Antenna gain is the measurement of an antenna's ability to amplify the incoming microwave signals in a particular direction, compared with the sensitivity of an isotropic antenna in any direction, or a dipole antenna in the equatorial direction. | 4 dBi |
| Features | |
| Antenna type Type of antenna, also known an aerial, e.g. external, internal. | Omni-directional antenna |
| Connector gender To distinguish parts on a cable interface, connectors are grouped under genders. Sockets or jacks are considered to be female whilst plugs are referred to as male. | Male |
