With a diameter of just 130 x 63 mm (5.1 x 2.5 in), this compact and discreet palm-sized PTZ camera blends discreetly into any environment. It comes at a price point that s nothing if not reasonable. Featuring a built-in microphone, it enables audio analytics such as scream and glass break detection. Thanks to Zipstream with H.264/H.265 it significantly reduces storage and bandwidth without compromising image quality. This affordable camera can be used with installation material from the previous model (AXIS M5054). Furthermore, built-in cybersecurity features help prevent unauthorized access and safeguard your system.

AXIS M5074 delivers sharp, detailed video in HDTV 720p/1MP resolution with great image usability. Thanks to PTZ functionality with 5x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom you can benefit from sweeping overviews and zoom in to get the details. Plus, autofocus ensures detailed, sharp images "every time. With Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, it preserves important forensic detail when there s both dark and light areas in the same scene. Furthermore, constant angle focusing ensures the field of view doesn t change even when the focus changes.

It includes built-in analytics that transforms the camera into a business tool to help you make smart decisions about operations and resource allocation. For instance, it includes audio volume detection which uses the built-in microphone to trigger an event. Scream detection triggers an event when the microphone detects a scream in the camera's proximity. Furthermore, AXIS Video motion detection triggers an event when movement is detected in a predefined area.
