ATEN VE883ARK1-AT-U, 4096 x 2160 pixels, AV receiver, 300 m, Wired, 3D, HDCP
The VE883AR is a True 4K HDMI Optical receiver that extends up to 4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (4:4:4) HDMI, audio, USB 2.0, IR, RS-232, and Gigabit Ethernet signals across 300 m (VE883ARK1) or 10 km (VE883ARK2) over a single duplex fiber optic cable losslessly. While helping avoid bulky cable setup, fiber optic cables are electrically isolated, thus they are immune to RFI and EMI. With ATEN
| Features | |
| Type Characteristics of the device. | AV receiver |
| Maximum resolution The maximum number of pixels that can be displayed in the image. It is usually quoted as width × height,: for example, "1024 × 768" means the width is 1024 pixels and the height is 768 pixels. | 4096 x 2160 pixels |
| Cable types supported | Fiber |
| Maximum transfer distance The greatest distance over which the data/signal can be transferred. | 300 m |
| Fiber optic wavelengths supported | 850 nm |
| Fiber mode structure | Multi-mode |
| Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection | 15 kV |
| LED indicators |
|
| Supported graphics resolutions The graphic resolutions that can be displayed by the device. The graphic resolution describes the width and height dimensions of a display, such as a computer monitor, measured in pixels. | 3840 x 2160, 4096 x 2160 |
| Bandwidth Bandwidth is the difference between the upper and lower frequencies in a continuous set of frequencies. It is typically measured in Hertz (Hz). A key characteristic of bandwidth is that any band of a given width can carry the same amount of information, regardless of where that band is located in the frequency spectrum. For example, a 3 kHz band can carry a telephone conversation whether that band is at baseband (as in a POTS telephone line) or modulated to some higher frequency. | 340 MHz |
| HDCP High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of digital copy protection to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections. |
|
| Material The material from which a thing is or can be made e.g. wood, plastic. | Metal |
| 3D The device can be used with 3D technology. |
|
| Rack mounting The type of mounting that can position devices in a shelving system (rack). |
|
| Firmware upgradeable |
|
| Plug and Play Indicates whether this product supports is "plug and play". Plug and play is hardware or software that, after being installed ("plugged in"), can immediately be used ("played with"), as opposed to hardware or software which requires configuration. |
|
| Impedance The effective resistance of an electric circuit or component to alternating current, arising from the combined effects of ohmic resistance and reactance. | 100 Ω |
| HDCP version | 2.2 |
| Product colour The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white. | Black |
| Ports & interfaces | |
| Connectivity technology The technology that enables connectivity of the device, e.g. wired or wireless. | Wired |
| Ethernet LAN An Ethernet LAN (Local Area Network) interface is present, for a wired conection via a cable. |
|
| RJ-45 input ports | 1 |
| Number of HDMI outputs Port (socket) for HDMI output. | 1 |
| Fiber optic connector This terminates the end of an optical fiber, and enables quicker connection and disconnection than splicing. The connectors mechanically couple and align the cores of fibers so light can pass. Better connectors lose very little light due to reflection or misalignment of the fibers. In all there have been about 100 types of optic fiber connectors produced. | SFP |
| USB ports quantity | 1 |
| USB version Universal Serial Bus (USB) is an industry standard developed in the mid-1990s that defines the interface used for connection, communication and power supply between computers and electronic devices. Every new version - for example 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 - is much faster than the previous one. | 2.0 |
| USB connector type The type of USB connector/port that this product has. | USB Type-A |
| Remote (IR) input | 1 |
| DC-in jack The socket/plug where the DC electricity supply connects to the device. |
|
| Power | |
| Operating voltage Defines the range of operating voltages available | 5 V |
| Power consumption (receiver) (max) | 6.5 W |
| Operational conditions | |
| Operating temperature (T-T) The minimum and maximum temperatures at which the product can be safely operated. | 0 - 40 °C |
| Storage temperature (T-T) The minimum and maximum temperatures at which the product can be safely stored. | -20 - 60 °C |
| Operating relative humidity (H-H) | 0 - 80% |
| Weight & dimensions | |
| Width The measurement or extent of something from side to side. | 146.9 mm |
| Depth The distance from the front to the back of something. | 169.4 mm |
| Height The measurement of the product from head to foot or from base to top. | 30 mm |
| Weight Weight of the product without packaging (net weight). If possible, the net weight is given including standard accessories and supplies. Please note that sometimes the manufacturer leaves out the weight of accessories and/or supplies. | 660 g |
