ATEN VE2812T, 4096 x 2160 pixels, AV transmitter, 100 m, Wired, 3D, HDCP
ATEN VE2812T is a transmitter for sending VGA (with audio) and HDMI signals up to 100 m over a single Cat 5e/6/6a or ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable. The VE2812T guarantees reliable transmission of HDMI signals, supporting 3D, Deep Color, and embedded HD lossless audio formats. It also ensures transmission of VGA (with audio) at distance up to 100 m. In addition, it supports Long Reach Mode up to 150 m via a single Cat 5e/6 cable at resolutions up to 1080p.
For utility flexibility, the VE2812T can serve as a video switch by connecting two sources and distribute them to an identical output. The VE2812T is recommended to be deployed in paired with the VE2812R. The VE2812R can carry on IR/RS-232 from the VE2812R to theVE2812T, allowing users to remotely control the VE2812T unit through RS-232 command mode via input port switching. The solution is deal for a variety of settings, such as meeting rooms, digital educational environment or wherever high video quality is required.

| Features | |
| Type Characteristics of the device. | AV transmitter |
| Maximum resolution The maximum number of pixels that can be displayed in the image. It is usually quoted as width × height,: for example, "1024 × 768" means the width is 1024 pixels and the height is 768 pixels. | 4096 x 2160 pixels |
| Cable types supported | Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a |
| Maximum transfer distance The greatest distance over which the data/signal can be transferred. | 100 m |
| Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection | 15 kV |
| LED indicators |
|
| Supported video modes The video modes that can be displayed by the device. | 1080p, 2160p |
| Bandwidth Bandwidth is the difference between the upper and lower frequencies in a continuous set of frequencies. It is typically measured in Hertz (Hz). A key characteristic of bandwidth is that any band of a given width can carry the same amount of information, regardless of where that band is located in the frequency spectrum. For example, a 3 kHz band can carry a telephone conversation whether that band is at baseband (as in a POTS telephone line) or modulated to some higher frequency. | 340 MHz |
| HDCP High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of digital copy protection to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections. |
|
| Material The material from which a thing is or can be made e.g. wood, plastic. | Metal |
| 3D The device can be used with 3D technology. |
|
| Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) support |
|
| Impedance The effective resistance of an electric circuit or component to alternating current, arising from the combined effects of ohmic resistance and reactance. | 100 Ω |
