ATEN VE816R, 4096 x 2160 pixels, AV receiver, 150 m, Wired, 3D, HDCP
ATEN VE816R 4K HDMI HDBaseT Receiver with Scaler is designed to work with several ATEN HDBaseT Matrix Switches to extend 4K HDMI signals up to 100 m over a single Cat 5e/6/6a or an ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable, and at the same time, scales videos of different resolutions for optimal display.

Supporting bi-directional RS-232 channel and IR signaling pass-through, the VE816R provides users the path to remotely control the compatible devices. When working with ATEN HDBaseT Matrix, The VE816R features Frame Sync and Cable Quality Tester technologies to ensure smooth video and intuitive cable testing process.

When working with ATEN HDMI HDBaseT-Lite Matrix Switches, or Modular Matrix Switches with HDBaseT output boards, the VE816R supports video wall integration and ATEN
Features
Type Characteristics of the device. AV receiver
Maximum resolution The maximum number of pixels that can be displayed in the image. It is usually quoted as width × height,: for example, "1024 × 768" means the width is 1024 pixels and the height is 768 pixels. 4096 x 2160 pixels
Cable types supported Cat5e, Cat6
Maximum transfer distance The greatest distance over which the data/signal can be transferred. 150 m
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection 15 kV
LED indicators
Supported video modes The video modes that can be displayed by the device. 1080p
Supported graphics resolutions The graphic resolutions that can be displayed by the device. The graphic resolution describes the width and height dimensions of a display, such as a computer monitor, measured in pixels. 3840 x 2160, 4096 x 2160
Bandwidth Bandwidth is the difference between the upper and lower frequencies in a continuous set of frequencies. It is typically measured in Hertz (Hz). A key characteristic of bandwidth is that any band of a given width can carry the same amount of information, regardless of where that band is located in the frequency spectrum. For example, a 3 kHz band can carry a telephone conversation whether that band is at baseband (as in a POTS telephone line) or modulated to some higher frequency. 340 MHz
HDCP High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of digital copy protection to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections.
Material The material from which a thing is or can be made e.g. wood, plastic. Metal
3D The device can be used with 3D technology.
Firmware upgradeable
Plug and Play Indicates whether this product supports is "plug and play". Plug and play is hardware or software that, after being installed ("plugged in"), can immediately be used ("played with"), as opposed to hardware or software which requires configuration.
Impedance The effective resistance of an electric circuit or component to alternating current, arising from the combined effects of ohmic resistance and reactance. 100 Ω
Product colour The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white. Black
HDBaseT certified
Ports & interfaces
Connectivity technology The technology that enables connectivity of the device, e.g. wired or wireless. Wired
RJ-45 input ports 1
Number of HDMI outputs Port (socket) for HDMI output. 1
Serial ports quantity The number of serial ports in a computer or peripheral. A serial port is a serial communication physical interface through which information transfers in or out one bit at a time. The term "serial port" usually identifies hardware more or less compliant to the RS-232 standard, intended to interface with a modem or with a similar communication device. In modern computers and peripherals, serial ports have largely been replaced by USBs and other interfaces. 1
Serial interface type RS-232
Remote (IR) input 1
DC-in jack The socket/plug where the DC electricity supply connects to the device.
Power
Operating voltage Defines the range of operating voltages available 5 V
Power consumption (typical) Amount of power consumed by this model, often expressed in watts (W). Typical values that manufacturers give are power consumption when off, standby/suspended mode, typical use, maximum usage. 9.09 W
External power adapter
