With a quick 1 ms response time, the VP278H-P 27" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor fromASUS offers reduced ghosting and blur when viewing videos and gaming. In addition to the ultra-fast response time, you benefit from a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, support for up to 16.7 million colors, and 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles. On the back of the display you can take advantage of both HDMI and D-Sub inputs to connect the VP278H-P to a variety of computer configurations.
ASUS has included a variety of display enhancing features with the VP278H-P to improve your overall viewing experience. First off, you receive a more dynamic picture thanks to ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio. With a contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1 you benefit from deeper dark and brighter bright colors creating images that appear more lifelike. For the gamer ASUS has incorporated their GamePlus technology into this monitor. Utilize the integrated hotkey to select one of four crosshair types that best suits the gaming environment. In addition to the gaming mode, you can adjust the display to suit your specific content using SplendidPlus Technology offering a variety of viewing modes including darkroom, reading, scenery, theater, sRGB, night view, and standard.
