The Asus ROG Strix G 15.6" FHD is a well priced gaming laptops that overperforms for its class.
In general, we love Asus products, even more so the Republic of Gamers technology they release. They always strike high performance and reliability.
The outer lid is using a lovely brushed finish, and the build quality feels very sturdy. The hinge that allows you to open the lid feels solid - as does the keyboard.
The negatives are that the screen bezel is a little on the larger side, and there's no webcam.
The laptop strikes us as a hybrid between gaming and professional use. If you're working more than gaming and just playing a few titles on medium/medium high settings, the ROG Strix G 15.6" gaming laptop is for you.
