The ALOGIC Ultra USB 3.0 Type A to Type A Extension Cable - Male to Female is mostly used to extend a USB 3.0 connection between a USB enabled peripheral like a Keyboard Mouse hard drive etc and a USB 3.0 port on a computer or a connected USB Hub.
